The Great Ping Pong Race Returns to Splash Island
It’s back—and more exciting than ever! The 6th Annual Great Ping Pong Race returns to Splash Island Waterpark at Wild Adventures, and you can be a part of it by claiming your ping pong ball now and helping support one of the most impactful organizations in South Georgia: The Miracle League of Valdosta.
Whether you’re in it for the prizes or the heart behind the cause (or both!), here’s everything you need to know before race day.
It’s exactly what it sounds like—thousands of ping pong balls racing down a slide in Splash Island, all for a great cause! Each ball is numbered and tied to a donation made to the Miracle League of Valdosta, which provides opportunities for children and adults with special needs to play and enjoy organized sports.
Your donation gets your ball in the race—and if your ball crosses the finish line first, you win!
“We are excited to partner with Wild Adventures for our 6th Annual Great Ping Pong Race,” said Tim McCoppin, President of the Miracle League of Valdosta. “This year’s race offers over $3,000 in prizes. The Miracle League of Valdosta is so happy to have such great community sponsors and support. Without them, we would not be able to complete our goal of offering our athletes a great and fun-filled experience.”

“We are honored to host the Great Ping Pong Race for a sixth year,” said Adam Floyd, Wild Adventures Director of Sales and Marketing. “The Miracle League of Valdosta does incredible work to bring joy, confidence, and community to athletes with special needs, and we’re grateful to play a small part in that mission through this event.”
