Wild Adventures Offers Free Teacher Admission

VALDOSTA, Ga. – Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta, Ga. is offer free admission for teachers, administrators and school support staff during its annual Back to School Splash event, which also includes “Buy One, Get On Free” admission for guests with the donation of schools supplies to support Teacher’s Harvest.

“Our Back to School Splash is an opportunity for us to show our appreciation to educators, support students in our community and to provide our guests with another weekend of unforgettable fun at Wild Adventures and Splash Island Waterpark,” said Adam Floyd, marketing communications manager.

During Wild Adventures’ Back to School Splash, July 22 through July 26, public and private school teachers, administrators and support staff can receive free single-day admission with a valid school ID or proof of employment.

All guests can receive “Buy One, Get One Free” single-day admission during the event with a donation of at least $10 worth of school supplies. The donations will be given to Teacher’s Harvest, a program of Second Harvest of South Georgia, to distribute to local schools.

“Second Harvest is excited to be partnering with Wild Adventures again this year for a school supply drive for Teachers' Harvest,” said Eliza McCall, Chief Marketing Officer, Second Harvest of South Georgia. “We will be reopening our free school supply store for teachers in August, and we look forward to the generous donations from this event to help us stock our shelves.”

Comedian Bill Engvall will take the stage during the Back to School Splash event on Saturday, July 24. Engvall’s performance is part of the Valdosta Toyota All-Star Concert Series, and general admission is included for free with park admission or a season pass.
