Fennec Fox

The fennec fox is the smallest wild canid in the world. These animals are quite sociable as well, and purr like cats when they are happy. Even though they are more of a nocturnal species, they absolutely love to lie out in the sun.

Although the fennec fox is quite small, they are able to climb extremely well and are able to dig 20 ft deep. While startled a fennec fox tail has a gland on the tip of it that creates a very musky odor.
