Whether you're a longtime Season Passholder or planning your very first visit, Memorial Day Weekend is one of the best times of the year to experience Wild Adventures. This three-day celebration marks the official start of daily summer operations, and the park is packed with live music, fireworks, food, exclusive perks, and unforgettable animal and ride experiences.
Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of Memorial Day Weekend at Wild Adventures.
Start your summer with the biggest show of the season. The Memorial Day Weekend Fireworks Spectacular lights up the sky on Saturday and Sunday night at 9 p.m. Set to music and launched over the lake, this dazzling display is best viewed from the all-new Water’s Edge area. Bring the whole family, find a spot near the lake, and watch the sky come to life.
Wild Adventures is proud to offer free admission to all active and retired military members May 24 through May 26. Just present a valid military ID or DD Form 214 at the gate. It's a small way to honor and thank those who have served our country.
Bring at least $10 worth of non-perishable food items to donate to Second Harvest of South Georgia and receive 50 percent off admission. All donations go directly to helping families across the region, making it easy to give back while enjoying your day in the park.
Enjoy a cool treat courtesy of the Georgia Watermelon Association. On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Oasis Outpost, enjoy free fresh watermelon samples, grab recipe cards, and pick up fun giveaways. You can even meet Katelyn Lindsay, the 2025 Georgia Watermelon Ambassador.
Then, on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m., head to Splash Island to compete in a Watermelon Eating Contest. The first ten guests to sign up each day will battle it out for watermelon bragging rights. It's fast, fun, and absolutely delicious.
Beginning Saturday, May 24, Wild Adventures and Splash Island Waterpark are open every day through summer. That means more flexibility, more time for fun, and more chances to make memories that last a lifetime.
If you’re a Gold or Diamond Passholder, you get in first! On Saturdays, enjoy early entry to Splash Island Waterpark starting 30 minutes before the waterpark opens to all guests. It’s a great way to claim your spot, beat the heat, and jump into the weekend early.
Water’s Edge is the newest addition to Wild Adventures, and it’s already becoming a guest favorite. Designed to feel like a colorful lakeside village, this vibrant area features:
There’s also a new reptile exhibit, comfort zones for cooling off, and lakeside seating perfect for taking it all in.
Want to experience something extraordinary? Book a Discovery Tour and go behind the scenes for an up-close encounter with some of the park’s most amazing animals. Feed a giraffe, hold a python, and meet Wild Adventures’ keepers who care for animals from around the world. This guided experience is perfect for curious kids and adventurous families.
