Safari Animal Encounter
As part of the Wild Adventures 30th Anniversary Celebration, Safari Campground Animal Encounters are back, bigger, better, and now open to everyone! For the first time, you can book exclusive animal encounters online* and get face-to-face with some of the park’s most incredible ambassadors, including giraffes, sloths, and tamanduas.
These small-group experiences offer a rare chance to learn about and connect with amazing animals in an intimate setting, but spots are extremely limited. With only a handful of guests allowed per encounter each day, these unforgettable moments will fill up fast.
Encounters are available March 14 through December 31 on park operating days. Reserve your spot today and make your visit part thrill ride, part wild adventure because No One Funs Like Us!
* Animal encounters are offered weather permitting and are subject to change or cancellation based on the health, safety, and comfort of our animals. Availability is limited and not guaranteed. Encounters must be purchased per person, and a valid park admission ticket is required for participation. Non-campground guests may only purchase encounters on park operating days. All encounters are subject to availability and may sell out.

Animal encounters are designed to be small and intimate, with limited capacity to ensure the safety and memorable experience for both guest and animals.

The 10% discount is exclusively available to Safari Campground guests. To receive your discount, booking must be made on-site at the Safari Campground or via Call Center.

No, all Safari Animal Encounter tickets are non-refundable. However, if cancelled due to weather or health, safety or comfort of the animal, guests will be rescheduled for a later date.
