There are roller coasters. There are concerts. There are animals.
And then… there’s the Alapaha Trail.
For more than a decade, a large section of this peaceful, shaded boardwalk has been closed. But as we celebrate 30 years of Wild Adventures, we’re bringing it back better than before.
When we reopen for the 2026 season on March 14, the Alapaha Trail will more than double in size.
That means more room to stroll. More space to explore. More opportunities to experience the beauty of authentic Georgia swampland right here inside the park.
A Breath of Fresh Air
We love thrills as much as anyone. But sometimes, the best part of the day is slowing down.
The expanded Alapaha Trail gives families a chance to cool off under a shaded canopy on hot summer days. It’s the perfect place to take a peaceful break between coasters, listen to the sounds of nature, and reconnect.
Whether you’re pushing a stroller, walking hand-in-hand, or simply enjoying a quiet moment, the trail offers something you won’t find just anywhere.
And that’s part of what makes Wild Adventures different.
More Than a Walk in the Woods
We’re also preparing a brand-new animal habitat along the trail, with even more to come in the future. That means your stroll may include some new faces along the way.
Reopening this space also creates exciting opportunities for our seasonal events. Imagine even more immersive experiences during Great Pumpkin LumiNights and Wild Adventures Christmas Wild & Bright, with expanded space for lights, displays, festive fun, and a few surprises.
The Alapaha Trail has always been a guest favorite. Being able to reopen and expand it during our 30th Anniversary season is special. Thirty years in, we’re still growing, improving, and restoring parts of the park that make Wild Adventures unique.
We can’t wait for you to walk it again once the park opens on March 14.
No One Funs Like Us, especially when you slow down and take it all in on the Alapaha Trail.
