Is parking free?

Yes! Early registration and prepayment are required.

What groups are invited to participate?

The Boy Scout Adventure Weekend is open to all Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Explorers, their friends and families.

Do we need to make reservations?

YES! Advance reservations and payment required. Friday, March 30th is the last day to register for this event in order to receive FREE PARKING (1 free parking ticket per 3 paid admissions). Payment must be made for entire group (consisting of 15 people or more) with one transaction.

Tell me more about the BONUS I see offered on the registration form.

Groups registered and paid by Friday, March 30th, will receive one complimentary admission for each 15 paid attendees. This does not include a meal and a bottomless soda wristband. You do not receive credit toward the bonus for Passholder Packages, only regular packages. Registrations and payments postmarked by Friday, March 30th, will receive FREE PARKING (1 free parking ticket per 3 paid admissions).

Tell me more about the 2-day ticket that is provided with this package.

Each attendee will receive a ticket that is valid for Saturday and Sunday, April 28 and April 29 only. This does not include park admission on Friday, April 27, 2018.

When can we pick up our tickets?

Tickets for orders placed and paid for by Friday, March 30th, will be sent by UPS. Ticket orders and reservations received after Friday, March 30th, will be held for pickup upon arrival and will not include free parking or complimentary packages at group sales.

Again in 2018! ONLY Additional park tickets may be purchased on the day of the event, through Group Sales. Please be aware you may encounter significant wait time. Only park tickets will be sold on Saturday. Meal and Bottomless Soda Wristbands will not be available for purchase after March 30, 2018. They are ONLY available with advance paid packages.

How does the buffet work?

The buffet will be provided on Saturday ONLY. Groups will be assigned a specific meal time on a first-come, first-serve basis. The menu is chicken tenders, hot dogs, potato chips, ice cream cups and Coca-Cola beverages.

Will we be receiving a Bottomless Soda Wristband?

Yes! Each prepaid ticket package includes one Bottomless Soda Wristband per person which entitles the wearer to unlimited, small fountain sodas at any of our Food & Beverage locations which serve fountain drinks. Bottomless Soda Wristband are valid for SATURDAY ONLY.

Can you provide more details on the camping area?

The camping area will accommodate primitive-style tents, no campers, no pop-ups. The camping area will be available from 5:00-9:00 pm on Friday for load-in until 11:00 am on Sunday for load-out. There is no additional charge for camping. Portable restrooms will be available and one will be designated for Females Only.

I heard that we will be able to fish.

Our Animal Care team will be leading campers on an optional fishing excursion on Sunday morning from 8:30-9:30 am. It will take place around the lake, inside the park and will be Catch-and-Release. Campers wishing to fish will need to bring fishing poles. Bait will be provided. Chaperones must accompany their scouts for this outing.

Will there be showers available?

There will not be showers available at the camping site; however, you may use the showers at Splash Island during normal operating hours on Saturday (11am-6pm) and Sunday (11am-6pm). Splash Island is not open to scouts on Friday night.

Can we have our own campfire?

You will be permitted to cook at your campsite on certified equipment only, such as small, portable Coleman gas stoves. However, open campfires or fires in barrels will not be permitted. NO CHARCOAL GRILLS. You may bring your own food and beverages into the camping area, but not inside the gates of the park. Wild Adventures will provide a campfire on Saturday night. Lights out at 11pm, sharp. Please shut off any generators by 11pm, also.

Is there a place to stay if we don't want to camp?

There are a number of hotels in close proximity to Wild Adventures. We will be happy to put you in touch with one of our partner hotels (which are also listed on our website.)
