The large and beautiful Greater One-Horned Rhino lives primarily in northern India and Nepal. The Greater One-Horned Rhino is a grazer and besides, grass, likes to eat fruit, leaves and water plants when near a source of water.
Rhinos love the water and can be found wallowing in pools of water during the hot summer months.
There appearance resembles that of armor. This natural coat of armor functions to protect the rhinos, shifting as they move.
Greater One Horned Rhinos are endangered, with only about 2,400 left in the wild.
