Position:  Games Team Member

Description: To achieve game sales through communication to guests in a clean environment and effectively meet Wild Adventure sales standards.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Protect company assets: money, merchandise, equipment and maintain accurate records.
  • Follow instructions of pre-established guidelines and policies/procedures of games department and Wild Adventures.
  • Pleasant, polite manner with guests and Team Members.
  • Use selling standards along with Microphone to achieve sales.
  • Operate games in a prompt, professional and exciting manner.
  • Maintain full stock levels and full visual displays in games.
  • Follow all Games Department and Park cash handling procedures
  • Housekeeping standards to be maintained throughout the park.
  • Comply with all company safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe conditions, activities or injuries to a supervisor or manager immediately.
  • Clean and maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas
  • Report any unsafe actions or area or any needed repairs to your team lead/ supervisor
  • Work cooperatively with all departments and assisting as necessary
  • Represent the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner
  • Maintain a groomed look, good personal hygiene including wearing a clean WA uniform

  • Other duties as needed

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Education and / or Experience—Applicant must have some High School Education and be over 16 years of age.
  • Interpersonal Skills – friendly, positive attitude toward others, Ability to display servant based behaviors to include: being patient, kind, humble, respectful, selfless, forgiving, honest and committed.
  • Guest/Customer Service Skills- must have knowledge of principles for providing quality customer service. This includes understanding guest needs meeting quality service standards for service and guest satisfaction.
  • Language Skills – Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak to customers or employees of organization.
  • Mathematical Skills—Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Have thorough knowledge of procedures used in handling, recording, deposit money. 
  • Reasoning Ability-- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Physical Demands— The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and talk or hear. The employee is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is also required to stand and walk in inside/outside conditions. The employee must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Work Environment- Position requires outdoor work in all weather conditions and in presence of dust and odors. Team Members are susceptible to the exposure of various chemicals, prolonged exposure to sunlight, bodily fluids and blood borne pathogens.

Availability Requirements

• Position requires rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
