Position:  First Aid EMT
Type:  Seasonal
Department:  Safety/Security

The EMT will provide Basic Life Support and First Aid to Team Members and Guests and enforce Herschend Family Entertainment safety procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assess and provide BLS treatment for a variety of injuries and medical emergencies
• Professional use of radio
• Operate park vehicles including golf cart, van and truck as needed
• Determine if further medical attention is needed and make contact with outside emergency services if needed
• Maintain accurate records and create reports for all treatment given
• Assist with gathering information and interacting with lost parents and children
• Maintain safety protocol and enforce all safety rules throughout the park and back areas
• Walk park daily and report any safety concerns to appropriate management staff
• Clean First Aid building as needed
• Stock and inventory all supplies
• Complete training with Lifeguards to assure smooth patient transition
• Assist Park Security as needed
• Other duties as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 18
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certification as an E.M.T. by the state of Georgia (National certification is desired) and 1 plus years of experience required.
• Valid drivers license
• Minimum of one year experience as an E.M.T
